Amb. Rwamucyo Presents credentials to President Abdul Hamid

Rwanda’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Ernest Rwamucyo has presented credentials to President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Wednesday, IGIHE has learned from BSS.

Other Envoys who presented their credentials are Ambassador of Lithuania, Laimonas Talat-Kelpsa and Grahame Morton of New Zealand.

Welcoming the envoys, the President expressed the hope that the envoys would make their best efforts to further strengthen the bilateral relations of their respective countries with Bangladesh, especially on trade, investment, agriculture and tourism.

Abdul Hamid assured them of his all-out cooperation in discharging their duties in Bangladesh.

The envoys told the President that they would work to boost bilateral cooperation with Bangladesh.

Concerned secretaries to the President and the foreign secretary were present. Earlier on their arrival at Bangabhaban, the envoys were given guard of honour separately by a contingent of President’s Guard Regiment.
