{Bongo Flava recording artist and singer from Tanzania, Nasibu Abdul Juma, 25, popularly known by his stage name Diamond Platnumz or simply Diamond is in Rwanda where he will perform at the New Year Party which takes place on 31st December 2014 and 1st January 2015 at The Expo Ground/Gikondo and Amahoro Stadium respectively.}
Diamond Platnumz, best known for his hit song “Number One” and many others, arrived in Kigali on Monday together with his lover Zarinah Tlale.
Diamond is considered influential among his fans, and is said to be the most loved and decorated Tanzanian artist at the moment.
He was believed to be the highest selling Tanzanian artist of ringtones by mobile phone companies in 2013, as well as being among the artists earning the highest income in the African Great Lakes region’s music industry
Arriving at the Kigali International Airport yesterday, the Tanzanian artist said “I am so happy to be in Rwanda, you know this is my First Time here.”
Diamond who is accompanied by a group of 22 people revealed that the Party will be so thrilling and if the first time is “I want to do something good and to show the people of East Africa how greatly we are doing something good.”
