{Airtel Rwanda staff have joined residents of Nyagatare district, Karangazi sector in the monthly Umuganda to make bricks and construct homes that will support the housing project for Rwandan refugees residing in Nyagatare district. }
Thousands of refugees were expelled from Tanzania in 2013 and have since been resettled in sites located in the district.
Airtel Rwanda MD Teddy Bhullar expressed gratitude on behalf of all Airtel staff saying the Airtel family was more than happy to lend a helping hand in building homes for the refugees.
Airtel also donated a number of construction tools including brick making equipment that will aid in the construction of housing units for the refugees.
