{The General Assembly of Zigama Credit and Savings Society (CSS) convened on 20 November 2014 at Ministry of Defence Headquarters. The General Assembly considered and approved Zigama CSS 2015 Business Plan valued to almost 130 billion Rwandan francs.}
The annual meeting that brought together Zigama CSS members from Rwanda Defence Forces, Rwanda National Police, Rwanda Correction Services was opened by the Minister of Defence, Hon. Gen. James Kabarebe accompanied by Hon Moussa Fazil Harerimana, Minister of Internal Security.
The meeting was attended by the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen P. Nyamvumba, Inspector General of Police, CGP E. Gasana, the Commissioner General of Rwanda Correction Services, Maj Gen Paul Rwarakabije, Generals and other high ranking officers and men from RDF, RNP and RCS.
The 2015 CSS business plan that doubled the last year business plan (62 billion Rwandan francs) is “realistic and achievable” depending on savings and deposits of Zigama CSS Members according to Maj Callixte Kalisa, Zigama CSS board member.
Zigama CSS chairman board of Directors, Dr James Ndahiro and Brig Gen Joseph Nzabamwita, Defence and Military Spokesman told the media that Zigama CSS General Assembly hailed Zigama CSS achievements and contribution to national economy.
“Generally Assembly approved Zigama CSS next year business plan valued to more than 130 billion Rwandan francs; the business plan include budget, cost and revenues”, Dr Ndahiro said before revealing that Zigama CSS 2015 business plan is projected to increase by 20 percent compared to last business plan.
Brig Gen Joseph Nzabamwita said that the General Assembly observed that the mission of improving welfare of Zigama CSS members has been achieved and that the Financial Institution is contributing to national economy and development.
With 2015 business plan, Zigama CSS will build three branches in Mukamira, Nyarugenge and Nyamagabe as to improve the service delivery to its esteemed customers.
