{This year Educat has expanded the reach of the Award. We intend to work with entrepreneurs before the official finale as well as after the competition has come to a close. We travelled to all 5 provinces of Rwanda and held one on one interviews followed by boot camps with high potential SMEs that are growing. After weeks of searching we selected 12 finalists who will go head to head at the finale that will be held on Friday 21st November during Global Entrepreneurship Week.}

Innocent is the owner of La Vale Du Bonheur. His company produces alcoholic as well as nonalcoholic beverages using fruits that are widely available in the Western Province. Innocent produces beverages that are popular on the market such as banana wine and passion fruit nectars and concentrates. However he also produces unique juices such as a carrot and pineapple blend. If he wins, Innocent plans to purchase new machines for his production line.
{{2) Samuel G. Mushabe}}
Samuel is the owner of Trinity Rolls and Papers. His Nyagatare based manufacturing company produces tissue paper items including toilet paper rolls, napkins and serviettes as well as disposable towels that are used in healthcare facilities. If he wins Samuel plans to use the prizes to expand his business by purchasing advanced machinery and distributing his products beyond the Eastern Province.
{{3) Marie-Chantal Muhayimana}}
Marie-Chantal is the owner of Delices Trading Company. Her company which is based in Muhanga provides decoration services for weddings, parties, as well as official ceremonies in the area. If she wins the Award, Chantal plans to use the prizes to purchase new materials for her company including larger tents and other decorative pieces that are not typically found in the Muhanga area.

Cephas is the owner of Uburanga Products Limited. He is a teacher turned entrepreneur that manufactures beauty products that are made from secret recipes that use plants and herbs found in the lush plantations of Musanze. If he wins the Award, he plans to purchase machinery and packaging materials that will make his products more attractive & competitive against other beauty product lines.

Jeff is the owner of G1 takeaway. He owns and runs a fast food restaurant in Rubavu. At his restaurant they serve classic fast food like chips and brochettes. They also serve unique foods that are not typically served in Rubavu, like hot dogs. If he wins the Award, Jeff plans to use the prize money to purchase a state of the art espresso machine so he can expand his business into a café and restaurant.

Kevine is the owner of Uzuri K&Y. Uzuri K&Y is a Kigali based fashion line and label that creates African inspired fashion with a contemporary touch. The company shows their unique approach to fashion through clothing as well as accessories. If she wins the Award, Kevine plans to use the prizes to purchase raw materials for their production and increase the number of employees.
{{7) Jessie Kalisa Umutoni}}
Jessie is the owner of G- Mart Limited. Her company manufactures sticks of chalk that are most commonly used in schools. Her product is the only chalk stick that is not imported- it is manufactured and packaged in Rwanda. If Jessie wins the Award, she plans to use the prizes to travel to China and Turkey to purchase machinery and to learn more about the chalk manufacturing process.

Linda is the owner of Haute Baso. She designs and produces handcrafted and high quality accessories and interior decoration pieces. The company prides itself on empowering the people they work with by providing them with opportunities to refine their production skills and develop new ones. If Linda wins the Award, she plans to purchase more materials, namely leather & increase their overall production.

Alice is the owner of Exclusive Media. Her company provides advertising solutions in the form of indoor scrolling light boxes. The light boxes can hold up to 10 advertisements and are placed in buildings with high foot traffic so as to insure high visibility. If Alice wins, she plans to purchase additional light boxes from China and increase her list of clientele.

Jancyne is the owner Humura Capacity Building. Along with other dental specialists, she provides dental consultancy and small scale medical treatment for clients. Her business works all year round and treats clients of all ages. If Jancyne wins the Award, she plans to seek additional training for her and the staff. She also plans to purchase additional medical equipment and treat more clients.

Innocent is the owner of Air Top services. His company manufactures maize flour. The flour is sold and distributed on a small scale in Huye where he has gradually gained clients. If he wins the Award, he plans to expand his production by sourcing more raw materials, purchasing machines with greater capacity of production and seeking packaging solutions to make his products more attractive.

Philbert is the owner of Washington Akabenz Distributors. He sources and processes pork meat which he then distributes to restaurants, homes and hotels in the Musanze area. His company prides itself of using the best mechanisms for maintaining a high level of hygiene and quality throughout their process. If he wins the Award, he plans to build his own butchery and stop renting.
