Kigali Based Foreign Missions introduced to Different Parts of the Country

{Rwanda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has last week conducted a Diplomatic Excursion to introduce foreign Missions to different parts of the country as well as to present them some of the socio-economic achievements.}

Diplomats visited the Southern Province as well as the Western part of Rwanda.

Visiting Rusizi District, southwest of the country, the diplomats appreciated the cross Border trade between residents of Rusizi in Rwanda with those of Bukavu (DRC) on the other side of Lake Kivu.

The inhabitants of the two cities are not worried about their business travel because they use tokens distributed by immigration officers officiating in the two border posts.

Diplomats also appreciated one border post at Ruhwa located between Rwanda and Burundi

They also visited different attraction sites including Geo Thermal Waters of Mashyuza as well as the Mashyuza cement Industry which locates in Rusizi.

They toured the Hydroelectric Dam Ruzizi III which will produce 147 Mw and this has been cited as an example of interstate cooperation and regional integration because it will benefit three states namely Burundi, DRC and Rwanda.

Diplomats have had time to explore the investment opportunities that can interest their countrymen who would care to invest their perfectly safe and can relax in a magical setting capital.

Indeed, not far from the district, diplomats decided to end their tour on Sunday, November 2 by visiting Nyungwe Natural Forest where they witnessed some of tourism infrastructure allowing travelers to easy hike with air routes known as Cannopy.
