{Four people, three passengers and a pilot, have survived a Helicopter crash in Nyabihu District of the western province of Rwanda, IGIHE Reports.}
The incident happened on Tuesday; fortunately the pilot and three passengers on board had survived the accident.
One of the passengers, a young American woman was airlifted from the wreckage with minor injuries.
Reports said the pilot managed to regain control after the helicopter developed a fault mid-air near Shyira area, some 150 km off Kigali, before making a heavy landing on a hillside.
The helicopter with three American passengers on board and a Rwandan pilot departed from Kigali International Airport early on Tuesday and was heading for a tourism mission in Gisenyi a small town located 160km from the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo, reports said.
When it went down at 12:45 pm local time (10:45 am GMT ), eyewitnesses said it was flying very low before the crash.
