98 Rwandans repatriate from DRC forests

{A total of 98 Rwandans yesterday repatriated from forests of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), entering the country through Rusizi I border post, mainly from Shabanda, Karehe, Masisi and Ijwi regions.}

They say that their repatriation was delayed by FDLR militia who were forcing them to support their baseless cause and subjecting suspected escapees to severe punishment including death.

The leader of Nyagatare provisional refugee camp in Rusizi district, Haguma Ildephonse requested repatriated refugees to keep away from discrimination ideology and join other Rwandans to build the nation, upholding Ndi Umunyarwanda program.

Repatriated Rwandans include 67 children born in DRC forests, 28 women and 3 men.
