{20 among 35 Africa’s heads of state to attend the 27th African Union summit held in Kigali today are expected in Rwanda today.}
Some of presidents have already arrived including; Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia, Benjamin Mkapa the former president of Tanzania and President Jacob Zuma of South Africa.
Mkapa was delegated to mediate Burundi peace talks aimed at ending political chaos that started in May 2015 following the decision of president Nkurunziza to extend his tenure.
It is expected that president Sirleaf of Liberia will hold talks with president Kagame tomorrow regarding the joint leadership program aimed at Empowering Women in Agriculture’ (EWA) launched during the 19th AU Summit held in Ethiopia in 2012.
