Two men are being held by Police in connection with the murder of a teenager identified as Byukusenge Emmanuel.
Byukusenge 16, was allegedly murdered on tuesday in Rubavu district at Nyakibande, Gikombe in Nyakiriba sector.
The suspects currently held at Gisenyi Police post have been identified as Mutuyimana Desire and Ndayisaba Gahinja. they allegedly beat Byukusenge to death.
Police Investigations reveal that the two murder suspects had just been released from jail after serving sentences of other crimes.
Byukusenge had earlier testified giving evidence that incriminates the duo for taking part in the theft of cattle that has been taking place in the area.
Police thus notes the suspects could have planned to murder their victim following this incriminating evidence he provided against them.
