  • Rwandamotor brings new Suzuki models

The Suzuki Grand Vitara and Suzuki Jimmy models have been popular in Rwanda for years thanks to their durability and good quality.

Following a market survey, Rwandamotor Ltd realized that small cars dominate the market yet are brought mainly as second hand, creating hurdles in fixing them.
Rwandamotor Ltd Ltd has therefore embarked on importing 5 new models affordable to the middle income class.

A Suzuki ALTO which is sold at Rwf 8,500,000 including all taxes has very good fuel consumption behaviours and takes a small parking space.

The other SUZUKI models brought by Rwandamotor Ltd are Suzuki SWIFT, Suzuki ERTIGA (7 seaters), Suzuki CIAZ (luxury berlin) which give a large choice to customers at a cost of maximum Rwf 20,000,000 all taxes inclusive for the highest model.

Another car recently introduced by Rwandamotor is Suzuki Vitara (4×4) which uses “All Grip” technology enabling it ride in both urban and rough topography of rural areas with ease. The new VITARA is made in the European Community but tropicalized for our region.

The Suzuki Vitara costs from Rwf 24,995,000 including all taxes only.

Rwandamotor clients are given two-year guarantee and the company has genuine spare parts in order to guaranty the longevity of the parts.

They started importing Suzuki cars in 1967 and will celebrate 50th anniversary in Rwanda in 2017.

  • Foods to keep you warm in this cold weather

It’s foggy and cloudy weather these days, but hot food will boost your energy to keep you awake and productive the entire day.Hellofood, an online and mobile food delivery company, came up with four different dishes you’re sure to love:

    1.Chionese noodles:

    15bde714-ed40-4a08-97e0-63d9dbfb0d6b.jpg

Chinese noodle are really tasty, warm, and incredibly tender in your mouth.
Noodles are part of the grains family and are a staple of entrees, side dishes and soups. Noodles contain the fiber and protein needed to fuel the body.

Noodles can be prepared many different ways. Spicy fried noodles with vegetables or noodle soups with beef, chicken, or seafood are really tasty. In Rwanda, most people would call noodles AMAKARONI because they are similar. You can find different types of Chinese noodles on hellofood at Century Park Chinese, Tangren, and Pan China.

    3.Thai red curry:

    7466fe06-dc90-430f-b5f7-44414b316726.jpg

Ever heard about turmeric? No? It is the main ingredient in curry that gives it its red-ish orange color and is a strong anti inflammatory which cleans and restores livers.
The red Thai curry is a popular Thai dish, which includes coconut milk, red curry paste, and meat or vegetables. Choose the spice level that fits your liking – extra spicy, medium, or mild. Compliment the dish with white or jasmine rice. You will not be disappointed at all! You can find this exotic dish at Zen oriental cuisine, Asian Kitchen, or Leelawadee Thai Bistro.

    3. Beef stew :

This weather brings cravings for comfort food. Hearty casseroles and heavy stews make us feel warm from the inside out.

When we suggest beef stew, we are talking about classic beef stew with tender meat that is cooked in a rich sauce with a medley of vegetables. The perfect accompaniment is a side of some steamed rice or baked potatoes. Pure heaven! You can try the beef stew from Grill and Barbeque or Simba.

    4. Chicken soup:

    8481b27d-c6f7-4e12-9b66-471f5916935d.jpg

Before chicken soup was for the soul, it was used to treat physical diseases of all types, even in the common cold! But why is chicken soup such a health-booster? The ingredients of chicken soup have several properties that make it useful in the treatment of certain illnesses.

Chicken soup will warm your whole body, and there are so many variations to try! From a lemon twist to a spicy broth – don’t miss out on anything. YOLO!
You can cook the soup yourself or give yourself a break and order from hellofood. We have the best restaurants in Kigali, and for chicken soup, check out House of Coffee, Tally Bakery Cafe, or Bamboo Rooftop.
