In an interview with igihe.com, Theogene Nshimiyimana assures local artists not to be anxious about international standard musical instruments like Ad mark speakers, aluminum stage, stage lights…

“I like music that is why i invest in it”, says Theogene. The only person we knew was proprietor of Cadillac night club but now, Rwandans should not worry anymore.

“If a Rwandan artist has got a nice stage, can effortlessly perform better that those we call super stars,” he elaborated

In an online interview, musician Masamba Intore, told igihe.com, “this is what we desired for so long and it is of great pleasure to have fellow Rwandans value what we do”, he said.

I support what a great idea Theogene has brought, because it has been too luxurious to hire from the neighboring countries and some artists choose to perform playback.

I urge him to make it affordable for local artists in order to support music, he narrates. He further requested the fellow artists to produce local music not illegal use of western music.

Masamba urges businessmen like Bralirwa and MTN to support local artists.

I am running my music in Kigali and my vision is to value the genuine Rwandan culture through my songs after that, I tour abroad, Masamba says.

Our charge will be as normal and we need to work hand in hand with artists not being selfish and heaping blame on each other, said Nshimiyimana
