{President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda and his Burundian counterpart Pierre Nkurunziza on Wednesday renewed bilateral ties between their two countries and general interest in the Great Lakes Region.The Ugandan leader held what was described as serious talks with President Nkurunziza who was on a one-day working visit to Uganda.}
During the talks at State House in Entebbe, the two leaders delved into matters of trade, investment and diplomacy between their two countries as well as issues related to the Great Lakes’ Region as a whole.
The meeting was witnessed by officials of both countries.
After the talks , President Museveni later hosted his guest to a luncheon after which the Burundian leader and his delegation that included some ministers, left for Bujumbura.
