Cyber terrorists from Turkey on Saturday afternoon infiltrated the Malawi government website and completely took charge of it posting their message.
The terrorists calling themselves Darkwar2 in the afternoon posted their image with a Turkish flag on the website of Malawi government after hacking it and let Turkish music play in the background.
Information about the group has revealed that the group specialises in hacking accounts of governments and post Islamic messages preaching that there should be freedom for all Muslims in the world. Ironically, Malawi grants freedom of religion and Muslims are free in this country.
The cyber terrorists further declared that they cannot be imitated and are fighting war with all their might as a Turkish Cyber Army.
The group’s wordpress blog has since recorded that the group has ever hacked the websites of Cape Verde, Guyana, Zambia, Malaysia, Malawi among a lot others.
At the time of publishing the Malawi website was completely down in what some IT experts have said might be the activities of the hackers or the IT officers in the Malawi government who are trying to minimise the damage of the terrorists.
One IT expert has warned that such hacking means that private information on the database is not safe and might soon leak to the public.
