London:Man arrested after 18-year-old is stabbed to death near Tube station during rush hour

{ A teenager has died after being stabbed near a London Underground station during rush hour.

Police in west London launched a murder investigation following the death of the 18-year-old yesterday.

He was taken to hospital following the attack on High Road in Ickenham, West Ruislip shortly after 5.30pm.

A man aged in his twenties has been arrested and is being questioned at a west London police station.

The victim has not yet been formally identified, police said, but his family has been informed.

High Road remains closed in both directions between West Ruislip Tube Station and Aylsham Drive until at least midday, Scotland Yard said.

However, West Ruislip Tube station remains open.
