{"id":41750,"date":"2026-04-20T15:19:55","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T15:19:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/french\/Bruges-Commemoration-des-victimes-du-genocide-contre-les-Tutsi-et-denonciation-41750\/"},"modified":"2026-04-20T17:36:17","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T17:36:17","slug":"Bruges-Commemoration-des-victimes-du-genocide-contre-les-Tutsi-et-denonciation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/french\/Bruges-Commemoration-des-victimes-du-genocide-contre-les-Tutsi-et-denonciation\/","title":{"rendered":"Bruges : Comm\u00e9moration des victimes du g\u00e9nocide contre les Tutsi et d\u00e9nonciation de la falsification de l\u2019histoire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00c0 cette occasion, ils ont r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 leur engagement \u00e0 lutter contre le n\u00e9gationnisme et la minimisation de ce g\u00e9nocide, encore pr\u00e9sents dans ce pays et ailleurs dans le monde.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement s\u2019est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 en deux temps : une marche de recueillement \u00e0 travers la ville de Bruges, suivie d\u2019une s\u00e9ance de prises de parole et d\u2019\u00e9changes autour du devoir de m\u00e9moire.<\/p>\n<p>Les marches comm\u00e9moratives organis\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger constituent une contribution importante \u00e0 la reconnaissance et \u00e0 la transmission de l\u2019histoire du g\u00e9nocide commis contre les Tutsi au Rwanda, tout en portant un message fort : celui de dire \u00ab plus jamais \u00e7a \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Umutangana Yvette, coordinatrice de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement \u00e0 Bruges, a appel\u00e9 \u00e0 renforcer les efforts de lutte contre l\u2019id\u00e9ologie du g\u00e9nocide encore visible dans plusieurs r\u00e9gions, y compris en Belgique. Elle a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance de continuer \u00e0 comm\u00e9morer.<\/p>\n<p>Elle a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 :<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Continuons \u00e0 nous souvenir et \u00e0 rester unis. Engageons-nous pleinement dans la reconstruction de notre pays. Nous avons la chance d\u2019\u00eatre accompagn\u00e9s par une bonne gouvernance. Nous devons honorer la m\u00e9moire des victimes du g\u00e9nocide commis contre les Tutsi tout en combattant sa n\u00e9gation, qui persiste ici en Belgique et ailleurs dans le monde. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Umutangana a \u00e9galement insist\u00e9 sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de raconter l\u2019histoire du Rwanda telle qu\u2019elle est, comme moyen de contrer ceux qui cherchent \u00e0 la d\u00e9former pour servir leurs int\u00e9r\u00eats. Elle a rendu hommage au FPR-Inkotanyi, qui a mis fin aux massacres.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Il ne faut pas oublier que cela a demand\u00e9 courage et sacrifice pour que le FPR mette fin au g\u00e9nocide. Sans cela, nous ne serions pas ici aujourd\u2019hui \u00bb, a-t-elle ajout\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9e par la pr\u00e9sence du bourgmestre de Bruges, Dirk De fauw, qui a soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance de la comm\u00e9moration afin d\u2019\u00e9viter que de telles trag\u00e9dies ne se reproduisent. Il a aussi salu\u00e9 l\u2019engagement de la communaut\u00e9 rwandaise locale dans l\u2019organisation de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n<p>Le pr\u00e9sident d\u2019Ibuka M\u00e9moire et Justice \u2013 Belgique, Mutabazi Twagira Eug\u00e8ne, est revenu sur la cr\u00e9ation de cette organisation en Belgique et a partag\u00e9 un t\u00e9moignage personnel sur les membres de sa famille qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Les artistes Mariya Yohani et Nyiranyamibwa Suzanne ont \u00e9galement apport\u00e9 leur contribution \u00e0 travers des chants de m\u00e9moire interpr\u00e9t\u00e9s lors de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie.<\/p>\n<p>La c\u00e9r\u00e9monie s\u2019est conclue par une veill\u00e9e, intitul\u00e9e Igicaniro et dirig\u00e9e par Miheto Tatien, marqu\u00e9e par la projection de photos des victimes du g\u00e9nocide commis contre les Tutsi, des t\u00e9moignages et des chants de circonstance.<\/p>\n<p>La journ\u00e9e a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9e par le
