Il permettra aux villes travers\u00e9es de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier d\u2019une connexion Internet performante, tant pour les fournisseurs de services que pour les entreprises locales.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Martin Cox, Directeur commercial de Paratus Group, ce projet vise \u00e0 stimuler l\u2019\u00e9conomie num\u00e9rique en Afrique de l\u2019Est :<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Mettre en place un r\u00e9seau s\u00e9curis\u00e9 du port de Mombasa \u00e0 Goma offre aux fournisseurs Internet et aux entreprises la possibilit\u00e9 de se connecter aux march\u00e9s internationaux. Cela renforce la r\u00e9silience, am\u00e9liore la performance et ouvre de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s commerciales au Kenya, en Ouganda, au Rwanda et en RDC. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Cette initiative renforce \u00e9galement la pr\u00e9sence de Paratus Group dans la Communaut\u00e9 d\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Est (EAC) et compl\u00e8te son r\u00e9seau existant reliant l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Est \u00e0 l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest, de Maputo jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Swakopmund en Namibie.<\/p>\n<p>Paratus Group op\u00e8re dans plusieurs pays de l\u2019EAC via ses filiales locales, notamment Paratus Rwanda, Paratus Kenya et Paratus Uganda, et collabore avec des acteurs r\u00e9gionaux comme Roke Telecom Uganda et MoveOn Telecoms au Kenya.
