Outre cette fonction strat\u00e9gique, le G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Brigade Gasana exercera \u00e9galement les fonctions de conseiller aupr\u00e8s du ministre de la D\u00e9fense et du chef d\u2019\u00e9tat-major des Forces de d\u00e9fense sur les questions relatives \u00e0 l\u2019arm\u00e9e de l\u2019air.<\/p>\n

Dans le m\u00eame communiqu\u00e9, le Colonel Dan Gatsinzi a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9 chef d\u2019\u00e9tat-major adjoint de l\u2019arm\u00e9e de l\u2019air, charg\u00e9 des op\u00e9rations.<\/p>\n

Aviateur chevronn\u00e9, le G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Brigade Godfrey Gasana dispose d\u2019une solide exp\u00e9rience au sein de l\u2019arm\u00e9e de l\u2019air rwandaise. Cette nomination, rare et hautement sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e, constitue la premi\u00e8re annonce publique d\u2019un pilote pr\u00e9sidentiel ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Promu au grade de G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Brigade en 2023 alors qu\u2019il \u00e9tait colonel, Godfrey Gasana occupait \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque les fonctions de chef d\u2019\u00e9tat-major adjoint de l\u2019arm\u00e9e de l\u2019air rwandaise.<\/p>\n

De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le Colonel Dan Gatsinzi a \u00e9t\u00e9 promu \u00e0 son grade actuel en septembre 2024, apr\u00e8s avoir servi en tant que lieutenant-colonel. En 2025, il s\u2019est distingu\u00e9 en obtenant les meilleurs r\u00e9sultats parmi les officiers dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s du Coll\u00e8ge sup\u00e9rieur de commandement et d\u2019\u00e9tat-major de Nyakinama.<\/p>\n

Le Colonel Gatsinzi a \u00e9galement occup\u00e9, en 2021, le poste de chef des op\u00e9rations de l\u2019arm\u00e9e de l\u2019air rwandaise.<\/p>\n
