Damiba, qui avait pris le pouvoir en janvier 2022 apr\u00e8s un putsch contre le pr\u00e9sident \u00e9lu Roch Marc Christian Kabor\u00e9, avait lui-m\u00eame \u00e9t\u00e9 renvers\u00e9 par le capitaine Ibrahim Traor\u00e9 la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e et avait trouv\u00e9 refuge au Togo.<\/p>\n

Selon les informations, il aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 interpell\u00e9 \u00e0 Lom\u00e9 le 17 janvier et pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 devant une juridiction togolaise, qui a acc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 la demande d\u2019extradition formul\u00e9e par les autorit\u00e9s burkinab\u00e8.<\/p>\n

Il a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 conduit \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9roport et embarqu\u00e9 vers une destination officielle encore non confirm\u00e9e, mais plusieurs sources indiquent qu\u2019il s\u2019agit de Ouagadougou, la capitale du Burkina Faso.<\/p>\n

Le r\u00e9gime militaire en place \u00e0 Ouagadougou accuse Damiba d\u2019\u00eatre impliqu\u00e9 dans plusieurs projets de d\u00e9stabilisation, dont une tentative de coup d\u2019\u00c9tat pr\u00e9sum\u00e9e au d\u00e9but du mois de janvier 2026 visant \u00e0 renverser le capitaine Traor\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le gouvernement burkinab\u00e8 affirme que cette op\u00e9ration aurait inclus des assassinats cibl\u00e9s et des attaques contre des infrastructures militaires, et aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 dirig\u00e9e depuis l\u2019\u00e9tranger.<\/p>\n

Ces all\u00e9gations surviennent dans un contexte tendu o\u00f9 la junte burkinab\u00e8 affirme avoir d\u00e9jou\u00e9 \u00ab pour la \u00e9ni\u00e8me fois \u00bb des plans visant \u00e0 d\u00e9stabiliser l\u2019\u00c9tat et \u00e0 \u00e9liminer le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat actuel.<\/p>\n

Dans le m\u00eame temps, la Radiodiffusion T\u00e9l\u00e9vision du Burkina (RTB) a d\u00e9menti certaines publications circulant sur les r\u00e9seaux sociaux pr\u00e9tendant que l\u2019extradition avait \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9e sur ses canaux officiels, les qualifiant de \u00ab fausses informations \u00bb.<\/p>\n

Les gouvernements impliqu\u00e9s, notamment ceux du Togo et du Burkina Faso, n\u2019ont pas encore publi\u00e9 de communiqu\u00e9 officiel complet sur les suites juridiques attendues pour l\u2019ex-chef de la transition.<\/p>\n
