Les deux personnalit\u00e9s sont \u00e0 Kigali \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de l\u2019Africa\u2019s Business Heroes (ABH), initiative phare d\u2019Alibaba qui soutient les entrepreneurs africains et favorise la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019emplois.<\/p>\n

La septi\u00e8me \u00e9dition du sommet ABH a ouvert ses portes vendredi au Centre de Conf\u00e9rences de Kigali. Pendant deux jours, innovateurs, investisseurs, d\u00e9cideurs et partenaires du d\u00e9veloppement se r\u00e9unissent, alors que dix entrepreneurs exceptionnels rivalisent pour une part de 1,5 million de dollars (environ 2,2 milliards de Rwf) en subventions.<\/p>\n

Le sommet, organis\u00e9 pour la troisi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive dans la capitale rwandaise sous le th\u00e8me \u00ab\u202fD\u00e9finir l\u2019avenir de l\u2019Afrique d\u00e8s aujourd\u2019hui\u202f\u00bb, met en lumi\u00e8re des solutions locales dans l\u2019agriculture, la biotechnologie, la fintech, la sant\u00e9 et l\u2019industrie manufacturi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Cr\u00e9\u00e9 par Alibaba Philanthropy et inspir\u00e9 de la visite de Jack Ma en Afrique en 2017, le programme ABH est devenu l\u2019un des concours d\u2019entrepreneuriat les plus influents du continent.<\/p>\n

Cette ann\u00e9e, il a attir\u00e9 un nombre record de 32\u202f000 candidatures. Les dix finalistes se disputent des prix allant de 100\u202f000 $ \u00e0 300\u202f000 $, le grand vainqueur remportant 437 millions de Rwf.<\/p>\n

Depuis 2019, plusieurs entrepreneurs rwandais ont \u00e9t\u00e9 distingu\u00e9s par ABH, parmi lesquels Albert Munyabugingo (Vuba Vuba), Francine Munyaneza (Munyax Eco), Yvette Ishimwe (IRIBA Water Group), Christelle Kwizera (Water Access Rwanda) et Kevine Kagirimpundu (UZURI K&Y).<\/p>\n

La finale 2025 fait suite aux 7\u1d49 demi-finales, organis\u00e9es pour la premi\u00e8re fois \u00e0 Dakar, au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal, les 10 et 11 septembre. Les r\u00e9sultats seront annonc\u00e9s le samedi\u00a013\u00a0d\u00e9cembre.<\/p>\n
