Cette rencontre fait suite \u00e0 leur r\u00e9cent \u00e9change, d\u00e9but novembre \u00e0 Doha, lors du Sommet mondial pour le d\u00e9veloppement social, au cours duquel ils avaient discut\u00e9 du renforcement des relations bilat\u00e9rales et de la coop\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n<p>Ali bin Hamad Al Aida, charg\u00e9 d\u2019affaires de l\u2019ambassade du Qatar, a soulign\u00e9 que la visite du Cheikh Tamim intervient \u00e0 un moment strat\u00e9gique. Elle refl\u00e8te la volont\u00e9 du Qatar de renforcer ses partenariats africains, en mettant l\u2019accent sur la paix, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et le d\u00e9veloppement durable, tout en consolidant les liens de confiance avec le Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ambassadeur du Rwanda au Qatar, Igor Marara Kayinamura, a mis en avant les domaines de collaboration d\u00e9j\u00e0 en cours, notamment de grands projets tels que la construction de l\u2019A\u00e9roport international de Bugesera, dont le Qatar d\u00e9tient 60 % des parts. Il a \u00e9galement pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que Qatar Airways devrait acqu\u00e9rir 49 % des actions de RwandAir, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi la coop\u00e9ration dans le secteur a\u00e9rien.<\/p>\n<p>Il a ajout\u00e9 que de nouvelles initiatives pourraient \u00e9merger de cette visite, notamment des opportunit\u00e9s li\u00e9es \u00e0 Kigali Innovation City, un projet phare visant \u00e0 positionner le Rwanda comme un hub technologique continental.<\/p>\n<p>Le Rwanda et le Qatar poursuivent le renforcement de leurs liens dans les domaines de l\u2019investissement, du tourisme, du transport et des infrastructures.
