L\u2019annonce a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite par le vice-pr\u00e9sident tanzanien, Deogratius Ndejembi, qui a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ses condol\u00e9ances \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidente Samia, \u00e0 sa famille, \u00e0 leurs proches ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019ensemble du peuple tanzanien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab C\u2019est avec une grande tristesse que j\u2019annonce le d\u00e9c\u00e8s de M. Hafidh Ameir Hassan, \u00e9poux de la pr\u00e9sidente de la R\u00e9publique-Unie de Tanzanie, Samia Suluhu Hassan \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9, pr\u00e9cisant que les pr\u00e9paratifs des fun\u00e9railles avaient commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 Kizimkazi, \u00e0 Zanzibar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La disparition de Hafidh Ameir Hassan a suscit\u00e9 plusieurs r\u00e9actions dans la r\u00e9gion. Le pr\u00e9sident k\u00e9nyan William Ruto a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 avoir appris la nouvelle avec une profonde tristesse et a adress\u00e9 ses condol\u00e9ances \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidente Samia, \u00e0 sa famille et au peuple tanzanien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruto a d\u00e9crit Hassan comme le compagnon de toute une vie de la pr\u00e9sidente Samia et comme un p\u00e8re bien-aim\u00e9 pour leurs enfants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Le Kenya se tient aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de nos fr\u00e8res et s\u0153urs tanzaniens en ce moment de deuil \u00bb, a-t-il ajout\u00e9. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les “Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention” (Africa CDC) ont \u00e9galement exprim\u00e9 leurs condol\u00e9ances \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidente tanzanienne et \u00e0 sa famille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hafidh Ameir Hassan \u00e9tait agronome et universitaire \u00e0 la retraite. Malgr\u00e9 la carri\u00e8re politique de son \u00e9pouse, il avait choisi de rester largement en retrait de la vie publique et apparaissait rarement lors d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nements officiels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samia Suluhu Hassan et Hafidh Ameir se sont mari\u00e9s en 1978 et ont eu quatre enfants, trois gar\u00e7ons et une fille, dont Wanu Hafidh Ameir, engag\u00e9e en politique \u00e0 Zanzibar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lorsque Samia Suluhu Hassan est devenue pr\u00e9sidente de la Tanzanie en mars 2021, apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9c\u00e8s du pr\u00e9sident John Magufuli, son \u00e9poux est devenu le premier \u00ab First Gentleman \u00bb de l\u2019histoire du pays, bien que celui-ci n\u2019exer\u00e7\u00e2t aucune fonction gouvernementale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
