La soir\u00e9e a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 enrichie par l\u2019intervention du Professeur Alain Verhaagen, qui a apport\u00e9 un \u00e9clairage historique sur les m\u00e9canismes ayant conduit au g\u00e9nocide perp\u00e9tr\u00e9 contre les Tutsi au Rwanda et sur le processus de reconstruction du pays, fond\u00e9 sur l\u2019unit\u00e9, la r\u00e9conciliation et la paix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans son allocution, l\u2019Ambassadrice a salu\u00e9 une \u0153uvre qui d\u00e9passe le cadre artistique pour devenir un puissant vecteur de m\u00e9moire, transmettant des valeurs essentielles telles que l\u2019unit\u00e9, le respect, la solidarit\u00e9, la r\u00e9silience et le dialogue. Elle a soulign\u00e9 le r\u00f4le fondamental de la culture et de l\u2019art dans la pr\u00e9servation de la m\u00e9moire ainsi que dans la transmission de cet h\u00e9ritage aux jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dans une interview accord\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019issue de la repr\u00e9sentation, l\u2019auteur et metteur en sc\u00e8ne Jean-Marie Vianney Rurangwa s\u2019est r\u00e9joui de pr\u00e9senter Essuie tes larmes et tiens-toi debout au Grand-Duch\u00e9 de Luxembourg. Apr\u00e8s avoir port\u00e9 cette \u0153uvre dans plusieurs pays, notamment au Rwanda, en Ouganda, en \u00c9gypte, aux \u00c9tats-Unis, en Belgique, en Pologne, au S\u00e9n\u00e9gal et en Guin\u00e9e-Conakry, il s\u2019est dit honor\u00e9 d\u2019avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9 par Ibuka Luxembourg, en collaboration avec l\u2019Ambassade du Rwanda au Grand-Duch\u00e9 de Luxembourg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il a adress\u00e9 ses sinc\u00e8res remerciements \u00e0 l\u2019ensemble des artistes, aux organisateurs, aux partenaires ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 toutes les personnes qui ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la r\u00e9ussite de cette repr\u00e9sentation. Il a \u00e9galement exprim\u00e9 sa profonde gratitude au public pour sa pr\u00e9sence, son attention et son engagement dans ce devoir de m\u00e9moire. Selon lui, la contribution de chacun a permis de faire de cette \u00e9tape luxembourgeoise un moment fort de comm\u00e9moration, de transmission et de r\u00e9flexion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le pr\u00e9sident d\u2019Ibuka Luxembourg, Kalisa Didace, a rappel\u00e9 l\u2019importance de pr\u00e9server la m\u00e9moire des victimes et de poursuivre la lutte contre le n\u00e9gationnisme, le racisme et toutes les formes de discrimination. Il a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 que cette initiative, l\u2019une des premi\u00e8res organis\u00e9es par la jeune association fond\u00e9e en mars dernier, s\u2019inscrit pleinement dans sa mission de transmission de la m\u00e9moire aux g\u00e9n\u00e9rations pr\u00e9sentes et futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c0 travers les \u00e9changes, les t\u00e9moignages et la force du th\u00e9\u00e2tre, cette soir\u00e9e a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 l\u2019importance du devoir de m\u00e9moire tout en portant un message d\u2019espoir, de dignit\u00e9 humaine et d\u2019engagement collectif en faveur de la paix, de la compr\u00e9hension mutuelle et du vivre-ensemble.
