\u00c0 son arriv\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9roport international Hamad, le Chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat a \u00e9t\u00e9 accueilli par Ibrahim bin Yousif Fakhro, Directeur du d\u00e9partement du protocole du minist\u00e8re des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res du Qatar, ainsi que par Igor Marara Kayinamura, Ambassadeur du Rwanda aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019\u00c9tat du Qatar.<\/p>\n

Le sommet, r\u00e9unissant des chefs d\u2019\u00c9tat et de gouvernement, des organisations internationales, le syst\u00e8me des Nations Unies, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile, le secteur priv\u00e9 et le monde acad\u00e9mique, constitue une plateforme majeure pour le dialogue, la coop\u00e9ration et la recherche de solutions communes en faveur d\u2019un d\u00e9veloppement social inclusif.<\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement vise notamment \u00e0 r\u00e9affirmer les engagements pris dans la D\u00e9claration de Copenhague sur le d\u00e9veloppement social et son Programme d\u2019action, tout en donnant un nouvel \u00e9lan \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre de l\u2019Agenda 2030. Il se d\u00e9roulera au Qatar National Convention Centre, avec des activit\u00e9s pr\u00e9paratoires organis\u00e9es d\u00e8s le 3 novembre.<\/p>\n

Dans un contexte mondial marqu\u00e9 par des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s croissantes et des transformations rapides sur les plans d\u00e9mographique, technologique et environnemental, ce sommet offre une occasion unique aux dirigeants et experts internationaux de d\u00e9battre des enjeux du d\u00e9veloppement social et de promouvoir un progr\u00e8s qui inclut tous les citoyens, sans laisser personne pour compte.<\/p>\n
