Cette mesure avait \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9e la veille, le 2 novembre, \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision nationale, \u00e0 la suite des manifestations massives qui avaient \u00e9clat\u00e9 le 29 octobre, jour des \u00e9lections pr\u00e9sidentielles.<\/p>\n<p>Les manifestants r\u00e9clamaient la lib\u00e9ration des opposants au gouvernement, comme Tundu Lissu du parti CHADEMA, ainsi que la r\u00e9organisation d\u2019\u00e9lections ouvertes \u00e0 tous les candidats. Selon le CHADEMA, au moins 800 personnes auraient \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9es depuis le d\u00e9but des manifestations, tandis que le Haut-Commissariat des Nations Unies aux droits de l\u2019homme \u00e9voque, lui, un bilan plus l\u00e9ger, faisant \u00e9tat d\u2019une dizaine de d\u00e9c\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<p>Selon la Commission \u00e9lectorale, Samia Suluhu Hassan a remport\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9lection avec 97,66\u202f% des voix, les 16 autres candidats partageant moins de 3\u202f% des suffrages, r\u00e9sultats vivement rejet\u00e9s par le CHADEMA.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis le d\u00e9but des manifestations, l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 Internet est coup\u00e9 et les habitants de Dar es Salaam soumis \u00e0 un couvre-feu nocturne.
