\u00ab Elle est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e hier soir \u00e0 Nairobi, et je l\u2019ai appris \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0. Nous parlions souvent au t\u00e9l\u00e9phone. Elle \u00e9tait venue pour la derni\u00e8re fois au Rwanda pour l\u2019enterrement de son fr\u00e8re, le roi Kigeli \u00bb, a indiqu\u00e9 Rudatsimburwa.<\/p>\n

Mukabayojo faisait partie des enfants qui avaient fui avec le roi Musinga lors de son exil \u00e0 Moba, au Za\u00efre (aujourd\u2019hui R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo), apr\u00e8s que les autorit\u00e9s belges eurent d\u00e9pos\u00e9 le roi et confisqu\u00e9 les symboles nationaux du royaume, dont le Kalinga. <\/p>\n

Le 14 octobre 1931, Musinga quitta Nyanza avec ses cinq \u00e9pouses, ses neuf enfants, sa m\u00e8re Kanjogera et d\u2019autres membres de la famille, mettant fin \u00e0 ses 36 ann\u00e9es de r\u00e8gne.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Les filles de Musinga ont travers\u00e9 leur vie avec leur arri\u00e8re-grand-p\u00e8re. Elles sont revenues au Rwanda apr\u00e8s l\u2019accession au tr\u00f4ne de Rudahigwa. \u00bb a ajout\u00e9 Mutijima Bryon, fils de Rudatsimburwa.<\/p>\n

Mukabayojo avait \u00e9pous\u00e9 Bideri \u00e0 Nyanza et avait eu six enfants, dont Bideri Dieudonn\u00e9, d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 l\u2019an dernier. Lors de la \u00ab R\u00e9volution de 1959 \u00bb, marqu\u00e9e par des violences ciblant les Tutsi, elle et sa famille s\u2019\u00e9taient r\u00e9fugi\u00e9es au Kenya, o\u00f9 elle a v\u00e9cu jusqu\u2019\u00e0 son d\u00e9c\u00e8s.<\/p>\n

Sa derni\u00e8re visite au Rwanda remonte \u00e0 l\u2019enterrement de son fr\u00e8re, le roi Kigeli V Ndahindurwa, inhum\u00e9 \u00e0 Mwima, pr\u00e8s du lieu de son couronnement, \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de la tombe de leur fr\u00e8re a\u00een\u00e9, le roi Mutara III Rudahigwa.<\/p>\n

Speciose Mukabayojo, derni\u00e8re fille survivante du d\u00e9funt roi du Rwanda Yuhi Musinga, est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9e \u00e0 Nairobi, au Kenya, \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de 93 ans.
