Depuis 2015, il est l\u2019envoy\u00e9 sp\u00e9cial de l\u2019ONU pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re, nomm\u00e9 par Ban Ki-moon.<\/p>\n<p>Son \u00e9pouse, Michelle Yeoh, actrice malaisienne oscaris\u00e9e en 2023 pour Everything Everywhere All at Once, est reconnue comme une figure majeure pour les acteurs asiatiques \u00e0 Hollywood et une voix influente dans le monde du cin\u00e9ma.<\/p>\n<p> Lors de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie, Jean Todt a choisi le nom &#8216;Ruvugiro&#8217; pour un b\u00e9b\u00e9 gorille, tandis que Michelle Yeoh a opt\u00e9 pour &#8216;Rwogere&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Le couple a ensuite particip\u00e9, \u00e0 Kigali, \u00e0 une activit\u00e9 de sensibilisation \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re au carrefour de Gishushu, dans le district de Gasabo, o\u00f9 ils ont contribu\u00e9 au marquage de passages pi\u00e9tons. Jean Todt a rappel\u00e9 \u00e0 cette occasion \u00ab l\u2019importance de ces mesures, le marquage routier jouant un r\u00f4le essentiel dans la r\u00e9duction des accidents de la circulation \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Le m\u00eame jour, le Pr\u00e9sident Kagame a \u00e9galement re\u00e7u Mathieu Flamini, ancien joueur d\u2019Arsenal et cofondateur-directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de &#8216;GFBiochemicals&#8217;, entreprise pionni\u00e8re dans la production d\u2019alternatives renouvelables aux ingr\u00e9dients p\u00e9trochimiques nocifs.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat s\u2019est entretenu avec une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation du groupe Marriott, conduite par son pr\u00e9sident du conseil d\u2019administration, David S.
