Selon la Pr\u00e9sidence, les deux Chefs d\u2019\u00c9tat ont imm\u00e9diatement tenu un entretien en t\u00eate-\u00e0-t\u00eate portant sur les principaux domaines de coop\u00e9ration bilat\u00e9rale en cours.<\/p>\n

Plus t\u00f4t dans la journ\u00e9e, le Pr\u00e9sident Chapo avait \u00e9t\u00e9 accueilli \u00e0 l\u2019a\u00e9roport international de Kigali par de hauts responsables gouvernementaux, dont le ministre d\u2019\u00c9tat au minist\u00e8re des Affaires \u00e9trang\u00e8res et de la Coop\u00e9ration internationale, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral (\u00e0 la retraite) James Kabarebe.<\/p>\n

\u00c9taient \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sents le Chef d\u2019\u00e9tat-major des Forces de d\u00e9fense du Rwanda, le g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Mubarakh Muganga, l\u2019Inspecteur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Police, le commissaire de police Felix Namuhoranye, ainsi que le Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Service national de renseignement et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 (NISSR), Aimable Havugiyaremye.<\/p>\n

Il s\u2019agit de la premi\u00e8re visite du Pr\u00e9sident Chapo au Rwanda depuis son entr\u00e9e en fonction en janvier de cette ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Cette visite vise \u00e0 approfondir la collaboration dans des secteurs prioritaires, en particulier la coop\u00e9ration en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9fense et de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, le Rwanda continuant de soutenir le Mozambique dans sa lutte contre le terrorisme dans la province de Cabo Delgado, ainsi que dans le renforcement des liens \u00e9conomiques.<\/p>\n

Dans le cadre de son programme, le Pr\u00e9sident Chapo doit se rendre au M\u00e9morial du G\u00e9nocide de Kigali, \u00e0 Gisozi, o\u00f9 il rendra hommage aux victimes du g\u00e9nocide perp\u00e9tr\u00e9 contre les Tutsi en 1994.<\/p>\n

Ce mercredi 28 ao\u00fbt, le Pr\u00e9sident Chapo rencontrera \u00e9galement des chefs d\u2019entreprise rwandais int\u00e9ress\u00e9s par des opportunit\u00e9s d\u2019investissement au Mozambique. Il visitera en outre la Zone \u00c9conomique Sp\u00e9ciale de Kigali, \u00e0 Masoro, afin de s\u2019inspirer du d\u00e9veloppement industriel du Rwanda et d\u2019identifier des domaines potentiels de coop\u00e9ration.<\/p>\n
