La m\u00eame source a confirm\u00e9 il y a deux jours que Myint Swe avait \u00e9t\u00e9 diagnostiqu\u00e9 de la maladie de Parkinson et d’autres troubles neurologiques associ\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Soign\u00e9 \u00e0 Singapour en 2024, il a vu son \u00e9tat s’aggraver en juillet 2025 avec des sympt\u00f4mes graves tels qu’une perte de poids et un d\u00e9clin cognitif, avant d’\u00eatre re\u00e7u \u00e0 l’unit\u00e9 de soins intensifs sp\u00e9ciale de l’H\u00f4pital g\u00e9n\u00e9ral n\u00b02 des services de d\u00e9fense \u00e0 Naypyidaw depuis le 24 juillet, a indiqu\u00e9 le CNDS.<\/p>\n

Le pr\u00e9sident par int\u00e9rim \u00e9tait en cong\u00e9 maladie depuis juillet 2024 et avait transf\u00e9r\u00e9 ses fonctions au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Min Aung Hlaing depuis lors.<\/p>\n

N\u00e9 en 1951 dans la r\u00e9gion de Mandalay, Myint Swe a \u00e9t\u00e9 dipl\u00f4m\u00e9 de l’Acad\u00e9mie des services de d\u00e9fense en 1971. Il a occup\u00e9 divers grades militaires au sein de la Tatmadaw (arm\u00e9e birmane), avant de prendre sa retraite de l’arm\u00e9e en 2010 avec le grade de lieutenant g\u00e9n\u00e9ral.<\/p>\n

Myint Swe a occup\u00e9 le poste de ministre en chef de la r\u00e9gion de Yangon de 2011 \u00e0 2016.<\/p>\n

Le 30 mars 2016, il a pr\u00eat\u00e9 serment en tant que vice-pr\u00e9sident du Myanmar. Il est devenu pr\u00e9sident par int\u00e9rim le 1er f\u00e9vrier 2021, apr\u00e8s la mise en d\u00e9tention du pr\u00e9sident d’alors Win Myint. Par la suite, Myint Swe a d\u00e9cr\u00e9t\u00e9 l’\u00e9tat d’urgence et le pouvoir de l’Etat a \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9 au commandant en chef des services de d\u00e9fense Min Aung Hlaing.<\/p>\n
