Plusieurs milliers de d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s et de militants du MCU se sont r\u00e9unis jeudi et vendredi \u00e0 Bangui, affirmant leur soutien \u00e0 une nouvelle candidature de M. Touad\u00e9ra et saluant son engagement pour la paix, la stabilit\u00e9 et le d\u00e9veloppement national.<\/p>\n

M. Touad\u00e9ra a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 sa volont\u00e9 de poursuivre son action \u00e0 la t\u00eate de l’Etat. Il s’est dit confiant quant \u00e0 l’issue du prochain scrutin, d\u00e9clarant vouloir “remporter l’\u00e9lection d\u00e8s le premier tour”.<\/p>\n

Les \u00e9lections pr\u00e9sidentielles, l\u00e9gislatives et r\u00e9gionales sont pr\u00e9vues pour d\u00e9cembre, selon le gouvernement centrafricain.<\/p>\n

Elu une premi\u00e8re fois en 2016 avec 62,69 % des voix, M. Touad\u00e9ra a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9\u00e9lu en d\u00e9cembre 2020 d\u00e8s le premier tour, avec 53,16 % des suffrages. <\/p>\n
