Il est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 dans un h\u00f4pital en Afrique du Sud, des suites d\u2019une maladie qui n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 rendue publique.<\/p>\n<p>Sa famille avait pris la d\u00e9cision d\u2019organiser ses obs\u00e8ques \u00e0 Johannesburg, en Afrique du Sud, ce 25 juin, \u00e0 la suite d\u2019un d\u00e9saccord avec le gouvernement zambien concernant les modalit\u00e9s d\u2019un enterrement officiel.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, le Procureur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Zambie, Mulilo Kabesha, a d\u00e9pos\u00e9 ce 24 juin, une requ\u00eate aupr\u00e8s de la Haute Cour de Pretoria, demandant la suspension de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce qu\u2019un accord soit trouv\u00e9 entre les deux parties.<\/p>\n<p>Kabesha a fait valoir que Dr Lungu devait \u00eatre inhum\u00e9 en Zambie avec les honneurs militaires, conform\u00e9ment aux lois et aux traditions nationales.<\/p>\n<p>Il a \u00e9galement pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que l\u2019enterrement d\u2019un ancien chef d\u2019\u00c9tat rel\u00e8ve de la responsabilit\u00e9 du gouvernement, en tant qu\u2019acte national, et ne saurait \u00eatre laiss\u00e9 \u00e0 la seule initiative de la famille.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis la matin\u00e9e du 25 juin, la Haute Cour de Pretoria examine la requ\u00eate du gouvernement zambien, tandis que certains membres de la famille de Dr Lungu poursuivent les pr\u00e9paratifs de la
