Auparavant, la marche avait \u00e9t\u00e9 suspendue pendant quatre ann\u00e9es cons\u00e9cutives en raison de la pand\u00e9mie mondiale de COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>Le 7 avril est reconnu \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle internationale comme la &#8220;Journ\u00e9e de comm\u00e9moration du g\u00e9nocide contre les Tutsi&#8221;, une journ\u00e9e de recueillement au cours de laquelle les populations du monde entier rendent hommage aux victimes et r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissent aux \u00e9v\u00e9nements tragiques survenus en 1994 au Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>Selon un recensement r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par le minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Administration locale entre 2000 et 2002, plus de 1 074 017 Tutsi ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tu\u00e9s en l\u2019espace de cent jours, entre le 7 avril et juillet 1994.<\/p>\n<p>Ce rapport, publi\u00e9 en 2004, fournit des informations d\u00e9taill\u00e9es sur les victimes : leurs lieux de r\u00e9sidence, leur \u00e2ge, leur identit\u00e9, et dans certains cas, les circonstances exactes de leur d\u00e9c\u00e8s.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-59751 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/fr.igihe.com\/IMG\/jpg\/pk_31.jpg\" alt=\"Le Pr\u00e9sident Kagame a pris part \u00e0 la marche annuelle \u00ab Walk to Remember \u00bb, un \u00e9v\u00e9nement comm\u00e9moratif en hommage aux victimes du g\u00e9nocide contre les Tutsi \" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ce 7 avril 2025 au soir, le Pr\u00e9sident Paul Kagame a pris part \u00e0 la marche annuelle \u00ab Walk to Remember \u00bb, un \u00e9v\u00e9nement comm\u00e9moratif en hommage aux victimes du g\u00e9nocide contre les Tutsi de 1994.
