Le protocole a \u00e9t\u00e9 sign\u00e9 ce 13 mars 2025 lors de la visite officielle du G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Mubarakh Muganga en \u00c9thiopie. \u00c0 cette occasion, le G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Muganga et sa d\u00e9l\u00e9gation se sont rendus au quartier g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l\u2019arm\u00e9e \u00e9thiopienne, o\u00f9 la signature de l’accord a \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement act\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Le G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Muganga \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9 de l’Ambassadeur du Rwanda en \u00c9thiopie, le Major G\u00e9n\u00e9ral \u00e0 la retraite Charles Karamba, du Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Coop\u00e9ration Internationale au Minist\u00e8re rwandais de la D\u00e9fense, le G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Brigade Patrick Karuretwa, ainsi que d’autres hauts responsables des Forces de D\u00e9fense du Rwanda (RDF).<\/p>\n

Le Rwanda et l\u2019\u00c9thiopie entretiennent une coop\u00e9ration militaire de plus de 20 ans, initialement centr\u00e9e sur la formation conjointe. Au fil du temps, ce partenariat s’est renforc\u00e9 et \u00e9tendu \u00e0 une collaboration entre les forces de police des deux pays.<\/p>\n

Au-del\u00e0 du domaine de la d\u00e9fense et de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, le Rwanda et l\u2019\u00c9thiopie entretiennent des relations bilat\u00e9rales solides dans des secteurs cl\u00e9s tels que l\u2019agriculture, le commerce, l\u2019\u00e9ducation et bien d\u2019autres.<\/p>\n

Au cours des sept derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, les deux nations ont \u00e9galement conclu des accords dans le domaine des services a\u00e9riens, facilitant une coop\u00e9ration fluide entre leurs compagnies a\u00e9riennes respectives, RwandAir et Ethiopian Airlines.<\/p>\n
