Le bureau du pr\u00e9sident angolais, qui pr\u00e9side \u00e9galement l’Union Africaine (UA), a annonc\u00e9 dans la nuit du 11 mars que les pourparlers d\u00e9buteront le 18 mars 2025.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Le gouvernement angolais informe le public que les d\u00e9l\u00e9gations de la RDC et du M23 entameront des pourparlers de paix le 18 mars 2025, dans la ville de Luanda \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n

La porte-parole du pr\u00e9sident congolais, F\u00e9lix Tshisekedi, Tina Salama, a ceci dit indiqu\u00e9 ce 12 mars \u00e0 l’agence de presse Reuters que leur gouvernement avait bien re\u00e7u une invitation \u00e0 participer \u00e0 ces pourparlers, mais qu’il n’avait pas encore confirm\u00e9 sa participation.<\/p>\n

Le gouvernement de la RDC a longtemps affirm\u00e9 qu’il ne dialoguerait jamais avec le M23, qu’il consid\u00e8re comme un groupe terroriste mena\u00e7ant la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des civils. De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le M23 a syst\u00e9matiquement rejet\u00e9 ces accusations, soulignant qu’il lutte avant tout pour assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des populations.<\/p>\n

Suite \u00e0 l’annonce de la date de d\u00e9but des pourparlers, le pr\u00e9sident du M23, Bertrand Bisimwa, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les combattants de son groupe \u00e9taient pr\u00eats \u00e0 poursuivre les combats contre Tshisekedi jusqu’\u00e0 ce qu’il accepte de n\u00e9gocier en vue d’une paix durable.<\/p>\n
