Le M23 avait demand\u00e9 des n\u00e9gociations directes avec le gouvernement congolais pour parvenir \u00e0 une solution durable. Cette proposition, soutenue par le Rwanda, a \u00e9t\u00e9 rejet\u00e9e par la RDC, qui a pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 intensifier les op\u00e9rations militaires contre le groupe qui contr\u00f4le une grande partie du Nord-Kivu.<\/p>\n<p>Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 qu\u2019une solution militaire ne mettra pas fin \u00e0 l\u2019ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans la r\u00e9gion, insistant sur la reprise des discussions de paix.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis le 23 janvier 2025, le M23 occupe la ville de Sake, situ\u00e9e \u00e0 20 kilom\u00e8tres de Goma.
