L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement sera une occasion de souhaiter le bienvenu au <span data-scaytid=\"2\" data-scayt_word=\"Rwanda\">Rwanda<\/span> au sein de cette association.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement que <span data-scaytid=\"9\" data-scayt_word=\"Kigali\">Kigali<\/span> organise, fait suite \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e du <span data-scaytid=\"3\" data-scayt_word=\"Rwanda\">Rwanda<\/span> dans le <span data-scaytid=\"7\" data-scayt_word=\"Commonwealth\">Commonwealth<\/span>, il y a trois ans.<\/p>\n<p>La conf\u00e9rence attirera 300 participants de 18 pays du <span data-scaytid=\"8\" data-scayt_word=\"Commonwealth\">Commonwealth<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Les autres participants viendront de l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e l\u00e9gislative de l\u2019Afrique de l\u2019est (<span data-scaytid=\"10\" data-scayt_word=\"EALA\">EALA<\/span>), de la <span data-scaytid=\"11\" data-scayt_word=\"Southern\">Southern<\/span> <span data-scaytid=\"12\" data-scayt_word=\"African\">African<\/span> <span data-scaytid=\"13\" data-scayt_word=\"Development\">Development<\/span> <span data-scaytid=\"14\" data-scayt_word=\"Community\">Community<\/span> (<span data-scaytid=\"15\" data-scayt_word=\"SADC\">SADC<\/span>) et de la Conf\u00e9rence internationale de la r\u00e9gion des Grands Lacs (<span data-scaytid=\"16\" data-scayt_word=\"CIRGL\">CIRGL<\/span>).<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les principales questions qui seront examin\u00e9es figurent la mani\u00e8re d\u2019introduire les cultures <span data-scaytid=\"17\" data-scayt_word=\"g\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement\">g\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement<\/span> modifi\u00e9es en Afrique comme un moyen d\u2019assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire, le prochain ordre du jour portera sur la fa\u00e7on d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les moyens de subsistance durables gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des mesures de lutte contre la pauvret\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>En outre, la conf\u00e9rence abordera les questions li\u00e9es \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des sexes, en particulier dans les questions fonci\u00e8res o\u00f9 certaines pratiques culturelles ont ni\u00e9 aux femmes le droit \u00e0 la propri\u00e9t\u00e9. La d\u00e9mocratie sera \u00e9galement au <span data-scaytid=\"18\" data-scayt_word=\"c\u0153ur\">c\u0153ur<\/span> des d\u00e9bats, car elle facilite la bonne <span data-scaytid=\"19\" data-scayt_word=\"gouvernance\">gouvernance<\/span> et des \u00e9lections \u00e9quitables.<\/p>\n<p><span data-scaytid=\"21\" data-scayt_word=\"Vincent\">Vincent<\/span> <span data-scaytid=\"23\" data-scayt_word=\"Biruta\">Biruta<\/span>, Pr\u00e9sident du S\u00e9nat du <span data-scaytid=\"4\" data-scayt_word=\"Rwanda\">Rwanda<\/span>, a not\u00e9 que la conf\u00e9rence tombait a pic, \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 les progr\u00e8s du d\u00e9veloppement du pays. Dans cette optique, <span data-scaytid=\"24\" data-scayt_word=\"Biruta\">Biruta<\/span> \u00e9tait optimiste que certains participants pourraient montrer de l\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat envers les possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019investissement au <span data-scaytid=\"5\" data-scayt_word=\"Rwanda\">Rwanda<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span data-scaytid=\"25\" data-scayt_word=\"Biruta\">Biruta<\/span> a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 que la conf\u00e9rence sera un succ\u00e8s malgr\u00e9 quelques absences. Sur 18 pays africains invit\u00e9s trois ne participeront pas \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement&nbsp;: Les <span data-scaytid=\"27\" data-scayt_word=\"Seychelles\">Seychelles<\/span>, <span data-scaytid=\"28\" data-scayt_word=\"Maurice\">Maurice<\/span>, et la <span data-scaytid=\"29\" data-scayt_word=\"Sierra\">Sierra<\/span> <span data-scaytid=\"30\" data-scayt_word=\"Leone\">Leone<\/span> qui n\u2019a pas encore confirm\u00e9 sa pr\u00e9sence.<\/p>\n<p>95 parlementaires <span data-scaytid=\"31\" data-scayt_word=\"rwandais\">rwandais<\/span> participeront \u00e0 cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n<p>Il s\u2019agit notamment de 79 d\u00e9put\u00e9s, membres de la chambre basse du parlement et 16 s\u00e9nateurs.
