Ethiopian Airlines resumes flights to and from Kigali

Ethiopian Airlines announced this a few days after Rwanda decided to reopen Kigali International Airport, after four months without receiving passenger flights due to COVID-19.

Ethiopian Airlines said on Twitter that it was pleased to reopen its flights to Rwanda.

“We are pleased to announce that we have resumed our flights to Kigali, #flyEthiopian #Rwanda.”

Ethiopian Airlines’ resumption of Kigali flights came at a time when Qatar Airways had also announced it had resumed operations in Rwanda.

In March this year, Ethiopian Airways announced it had suspended flights to 30 countries due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
