{"id":9617,"date":"2013-08-09T05:43:03","date_gmt":"2013-08-09T05:43:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/khartoum-sneers-at-saudi-account-of-bashir-plane\/"},"modified":"2013-08-09T05:41:56","modified_gmt":"2013-08-09T05:41:56","slug":"khartoum-sneers-at-saudi-account-of-bashir-plane","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/khartoum-sneers-at-saudi-account-of-bashir-plane\/","title":{"rendered":"Khartoum sneers at Saudi account of Bashir plane ban"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{{The decision by Saudi Arabia to bar Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir from overflying its airspace Sunday en route to Tehran for the swearing-in ceremony of Iran&#8217;s President Hassan Rowhani has opened a huge diplomatic row between the two countries.}}<\/p>\n<p>The Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) has dismissed the clarifications given by the Saudi authorities that the plane had no prior approval to cross the airspace as per international procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Khartoum termed a statement issued Monday by the Saudi Civil Aviation Corporation as containing &#8220;incorrect information.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Air Control Centre in Khartoum had provided the Air Control Centre in Jeddah with full information about the Presidential plane&#8217;s journey.
