{{Ten Savings and Credit Co-operatives (SACCO) have been launched various sectors of Kirehe District.}}<\/p>\n
The Minister of Trade and Industry, Fran\u00e7ois Kanimba on June 14 presided over the launching of the SACCOs saying it was the right time to strengthen the people-based cooperative banks.<\/p>\n
He added, \u201cI must say that I am happy, the programs of the ministry have been properly implemented as shown here in Kirehe. I commend the work done by the people of this district. They have a cooperative bank in every sector. They are exemplary,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Kirehe district Mayor, Protais Murayire commended the development in the area noting that; \u201cresidents understood properly what the government advised them to do. This is why we witness tremendous progress in all areas.There are some challenges like debt recovery in a few banks, which will be streamlined soon.\u201d <\/p>\n
