{President Kagame arrived in Marrakech, Morocco today where he will deliver a keynote speech at the 48th Annual Meeting of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) on Tuesday and take part in a High Level debate dubbed \u2018Is this Africa\u2019s Hour?\u2019} <\/p>\n
The meeting will see about 2500 delegates including Heads of State, finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors discuss major African development issues and focus on the need for Africa to turn economic growth into truly shared and sustainable economic transformation in the next half century.<\/p>\n
Organized on the theme, \u201cAfrica\u2019s Structural Transformation,\u201d the gathering will review the Bank\u2019s 2012 operations and its 2013 development funding portfolio, as well as challenges facing key areas such as climate change, infrastructure, private sector and governance.<\/p>\n
Created in 1964, this year\u2019s meetings present an opportunity for the Bank to publicize its new Ten-Year Strategy (2013-2022); which focuses on sustainable inclusive green growth.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
