South African troops part of the UN special combat Force in the area have moved to safer zone away from the fighting.<\/p>\n

A source from M23 Rebel movement told IGIHE that 10 bodies of FARDC soldiers were recovered and 3 M23 rebels were killed.<\/p>\n

There are three regiments of FARDC troops deployed in Goma .<\/p>\n

Witnesses told IGIHE that the Bombardment started at 5AM in areas along Kanyaruchinya axis.<\/p>\n

The shelling of M23 Rebels positions comes at the time the UN secretary General is visiting the Great lakes region.<\/p>\n

M23 rebels told IGIHE they are ready to defend themselves.<\/p>\n
