{"id":785,"date":"2011-09-10T06:55:16","date_gmt":"2011-09-10T06:55:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/icglr-resolves-on-regional-armed-groups\/"},"modified":"2011-09-10T06:54:05","modified_gmt":"2011-09-10T06:54:05","slug":"icglr-resolves-on-regional-armed-groups","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.igihe.com\/english\/icglr-resolves-on-regional-armed-groups\/","title":{"rendered":"ICGLR Resolves on Regional Armed Groups"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>{{The Inter-Ministerial meeting that brought together Defense ministers from eleven member countries in the Great Lakes Region  have recommended new strategies that will  curb down the armed groups  currently causing insecurity and instability in the region.}}<\/p>\n<figure class=\"spip-document spip-document-629 aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/en-images.igihe.com\/jpg\/james-kabarebe1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>The new strategies were adopted during a one day meeting of Defense Ministers under the auspices of the International Conference on Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) held at Lemigo Hotel, Kigali.<\/p>\n<p>The high level meeting  co-chaired by Rwanda\u2019s Defense Minister Gen.
