The two facilities are planned for construction at Karenge sector in Rwamagana district. <\/p>\n
Starbucks team of 30 members made the announcement recently while meeting with National Agriculture Export Board (NAEB) on their arrival last week.<\/p>\n
The Coffeehouse chain launched its offices in Rwanda in 2009 and has since exhibited a growing affinity for Rwandan quality coffee.<\/p>\n
NAEB director Alex Kanyankole says the Starbucks team visited factories and farmers with the aim of understanding better the coffee sector and to strengthen relationships with their suppliers.<\/p>\n
Starbucks began purchasing of high quality Arabic coffee from Rwanda in 2004. The coffee chain operates 18,000 stores in 50 countries and buys coffee from 30 countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
