The suspect identified as Daniel Sebuhoro, 36, hacked his wife and a three-month-old baby before turning the machete on himself, but did not die.<\/p>\n
According to Police Sebuhoro is suspected to be having a mental problem. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt is a tragedy. It appears the man had been having unusual behaviour. We have sent him to doctors for further check-ups since there are claims that he had a mental problem,\u201d said the Police.<\/p>\n
Neighbours that gathered at the scene in tears and disbelief are said to have been devastated by incidence saying they were a happy couple.<\/p>\n
“They were such a happy and friendly family,\u201d said Jeanine Mukagatare, a neighbour.<\/p>\n
Senior Superintendent Benoit Nsengiyumva, Eastern Province police spokesman said a post mortem examination would be carried out, noting however that nobody else was thought to be involved in the murder.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
