The visit is part of a wider government program to <span data-scaytid=\"2\" data-scayt_word=\"sensitise\">sensitise<\/span> all the refugees to return home and take part in the development of their country. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mrs. <span data-scaytid=\"4\" data-scayt_word=\"Afisa\">Afisa<\/span> <span data-scaytid=\"5\" data-scayt_word=\"Murebwayire\">Murebwayire<\/span>, who is part of the group of four refugees, visited her family in <span data-scaytid=\"6\" data-scayt_word=\"Ruhango\">Ruhango<\/span> Sector, <span data-scaytid=\"7\" data-scayt_word=\"Muhanga\">Muhanga<\/span> District in southern Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>She was excited and said she has been receiving false information about Rwanda but after the visit, she has a clear picture of the changes the country has undergone.<\/p>\n<p>She said she would encourage other Rwandan refugees in Brazzaville to return home. Her father was equally emotional and shed tears of joy when he saw his daughter. \u201cI\u2019m happy,\u201d he told<strong> <span data-scaytid=\"1\" data-scayt_word=\"IGIHE.com\">IGIHE.com<\/span><\/strong> in an emotional tone.<\/p>\n<p><span data-scaytid=\"8\" data-scayt_word=\"Murebwayire\u2019s\">Murebwayire\u2019s<\/span> young sister Marie <span data-scaytid=\"9\" data-scayt_word=\"Shantal\">Shantal<\/span> <span data-scaytid=\"10\" data-scayt_word=\"Kagoyire\">Kagoyire<\/span> stays in <span data-scaytid=\"11\" data-scayt_word=\"Kibungo\">Kibungo<\/span>, East of Rwanda but she had returned home to see her elder sister. They were both elated. <span data-scaytid=\"12\" data-scayt_word=\"Kayogiye\">Kayogiye<\/span> asked her sister to <span data-scaytid=\"3\" data-scayt_word=\"sensitise\">sensitise<\/span> other Rwandan refugees to return home.<\/p>\n<p>More Rwandan refugees continue to visit their families to witness how safe the country is.<\/p>\n<p>This could lead to better understanding of why they should return, according to government officials.<\/p>\n<p>Families of some refugees have also requested them to return saying that the country is safe and is developing so fast.<\/p>\n<p>Jean Claude <span data-scaytid=\"13\" data-scayt_word=\"Rwahama\">Rwahama<\/span>, an official from the Ministry of Disaster Management and Refugees commented, \u201cRwandans in Diaspora get false information about the country but those who visit will always tell the truth since they get first hand information\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Representatives of Rwandan refugees living in Congo Brazzaville last week met their families in Rwanda, 17 years, after the Tutsi Genocide that dragged them into exile.
