Ntwari G\u00e9rard thanked all the people gathered for the commemoration.<\/p>\n<p>A Commemoration fire was lit by young Rwandan children symbolising hope for the future of Rwanda.<\/p>\n<p>There was a minute of silence to honour the victims of the 1994 genocide against the tutsi that killed over a million lives.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As humans we have an obligation to always remember the Genocide against the Tutsi so that it should never happen again both in Rwanda and elsewhere in the world.
