{{Democratic Republic of Congo has asked the UNHCR to help transport the family of Central Africa Republic’s President Francois Bozize, who has fled his presidency on Sunday as the capita fell into the hands of the rebels, reports said.}}<\/p>\n
A UN official, who would not like to be named, was quoted by reports as saying that DRC has asked the refugee agency of the UN to transport 25 of Bozize’s family through border town.<\/p>\n
Central Africa Republic’s Presidency announced the president’s flight after a local human rights observation group reported that Bozize was seen on route to Mbaiki 107 km south of Bangui. Some reports said he was fleeing to DRC.<\/p>\n
The rebels Seleka Coalition has seized Bangui on Sunday and has been so far securing the control of the capital.<\/p>\n
The rebels began seizing towns in last December but gave up their advance later and signed a truce with the government. However, the deal, which allows Bozize to continue ruling until 2016, quickly unravelled.<\/p>\n
