The event will be open and free for anyone interested in hearing inspiring talks from inventors, entrepreneurs, engineers, musicians and a two time yo-yo champion. <\/p>\n
About TEDx
\nTED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is an annual conference held in California since 1984. <\/p>\n
TED’s motto\u2014\u201cideas, worth spreading\u201d\u2014gathers scientists, businessmen, politicians, artists, musicians and engineers on one stage. <\/p>\n
The speakers share much in common: bright ideas, undisputed influence in their respected fields of activity and the ability to talk about sophisticatedthings in a simple manner. <\/p>\n
TED videos are being distributed freely through TED.com and since 2009, independent TED conferences called TEDx are being held internationally. <\/p>\n
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. <\/p>\n
TEDx events aim to spark deep discussions and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event. <\/p>\n
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. <\/p>\n
TEDxNyarugenge is a group of enthusiasts and dreamers, inspired by TED\u2019s mission. <\/p>\n
