{{Rwanda Minister of Local Government James Musoni has met more than 120 students from all governance clubs from universities and higher learning institutions to discuss \u201cthe role of governance clubs in promoting governance principles\u201d.}}<\/p>\n
Musoni urged participants to be focused on three key pillars to performance and good governance, namely; \u201ccharacter, values and understanding\u201d. <\/p>\n
He challenged them to tell the true Rwanda\u2019s story. <\/p>\n
He reiterated the Government\u2019s commitment towards strengthening governance clubs members as \u201cone family even after their graduation\u201d. <\/p>\n
Musoni urged them to \u201calways reconcile theory and practice, owning governance processes and safeguarding the Nation\u2019s achievements\u201d. <\/p>\n
\u201cYou are the youth intellectuals. You are today\u2019s assets for the country where we are capitalizing because you are the leaders for tomorrow. <\/p>\n
You must safeguard the Nation\u2019s achievements for better future\u201d, he asserted.<\/p>\n
In his remarks, Prof. Anastase Shyaka, the Chief Executive Officer of RGB, congratulated the youth scholars for their commitment towards governance programs and urged them to be focused. <\/p>\n
\u201cYou are intellectuals; you should be focused on research and publications, governance for production and to carry out debates competitions to own governance principles\u201d, he noted.<\/p>\n
Governance clubs were initiated in 2012 to act as catalysts of positive transformation in national political life. <\/p>\n
