{{Burundian President Pierre Nkurunziza has thanked Rwanda for promptly intervening in the fight against fire that gutted down Bujumbura central market last month.}}<\/p>\n
“We take this opportunity to sincerely thank our brother country, Rwanda, the spontaneity of intervention to extinguish the fire that ravaged the market,” said President Pierre Nkurunziza.<\/p>\n
He made the remarks Friday, February 1st during the exchange of vows ceremonies with representatives of the diplomatic and consular corps accredited to Burundi.<\/p>\n
Rwanda has sent an emergency helicopter to Burundi to help firefighters control the fire which destroyed Sunday, January 27 central market in Bujumbura.<\/p>\n
